My wife’s fish was acceptable but not very good. This is actually the first time I can remember that I’ve ever done this. My chicken tiki masala was so bad I sent it back and declined the offer of a different meal. When her vegetable tiki masala came out it reeked of burnt cinnamon and was inedible. It’s took a half hour and speaking with the manager to get them to agree. When he came back, he said that the dinner chef would only make a vegan meal for guests of the hotel and since we were only there for dinner he would not accommodate her. When we sat down to dinner my daughter ordered her vegan meal and the waiter said he would have to speak to the chef. My wife spoke to the chef and asked him if he could make my daughter a vegan meal for dinner which he said was no problem. We came ashore for lunch which was very good and had a lovely time on the beach. It really hurts to write such a bad review for a place I have loved for years.
I personally met the new managers David and Julie a fantastic couple who clearly have high standards and personal goals to achieve for the place. Worth an early morning visit to stock up before the days sailing. Joking aside the shop the feedback from my wife was it is well stocked and as she bought several items the quality and stiles must be good.
Islands happy hour free#
The boutique for me was disappointing😂 I let me wife loose in there whilst having a rum. Happy hour was buzzing Carlo is the new bar manager. The menu is new and exciting I doubt you will have a better meal on your sailing trip around these islands. Restaurant I had some top quality food and witnessed a number of American families call the chef out to personally thank him (must be a thing in the states). The front of house staff, Head Chef and General Managers have all recently changed. This place is back to its best! I’ve been visiting Cooper for a few years now and this was by far the best stay.
